To look up into the sky, in the eyes of a lizard  at Little Barrel 2015

'To look up into the sky, in the eyes of a lizard.'
Groveling the ground, they look up into the sky, forests and trees.
I wonder how vast and enourmous it must feel….
Lizards use external factors such as heat from the sun to survive and accomodate their body temperatures.
Walking so close to the ground, groveling the rocks an climbing the surface of the trees.
They lean back on their heels once in a while to look up into the sky and get some sun.
Such presence, I think, is beautiful.

 

這いつくばり地面から見上げる空や森や木々を、どんなに大きくどんなに広く感じ見ているのだろう…。
体温調節のために日光などの外部の熱エネルギーを利用しながら生きるトカゲたち。地面や木や岩に這いつくばりながら歩き、
頭をあげて背中を反らせて気持ちよさそうに太陽の光を浴びて空を見上げる。
そんな姿がとっても、美しい。
